Andrew is a Grade 'A' (formerly known as Grade 6) Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor. Andrew trained with BSM and then held a franchise with the AA Driving School before setting up the Andrew Usher Driving School in1997
Oxford has been Andrew's home for more than 30 years, he knows the city well. With 20 years experience as a driving instructor and over 35,000 hours of logged instruction time, training drivers of all ages, Andrew has built up a wide range skills to help with the issues facing learner drivers today.
Client centred learning is an important part of Andrew's teaching techniques. Focusing on the needs of the pupil, these techniques ensure the pupil feels confident in thier control of the car - so enabling them to quickly take on the resposibility for their own safety as well as the safety of other road users.
Pupils can always expect calm, patient and considerate instruction that follows and complies with the voluntary code of practice for Approved Driving Instructors. Driving lessons will always be on an individual basis and will follow the DVSA's planned training syllabus.
