Driving an automatic car is so much easier than a manual because there are only two main gears to think about
forwards and backwards.
You dont have to worry about changing through the forwards gears yourself - the car automatically senses when to change up or down and does it for you, leaving you more time to focus on whats happening outside the car and concentrate fully on the road ahead. This gives you valuable time to look for possible hazards and plan how to deal safely with them, a bonus in busy traffic conditions.
Theres no clutch pedal, so no biting point to balance so you dont have to worry about stalling the car or rolling backwards, this also makes the reversing manoeuvres much easier to control.
Less stress means more enjoyment as youre learning.
Less to learn means fewer lessons needed so reduced cost to you.
