I am a 'one man' driving school and am proud to say that I am a grade 6 instructor which is the highest level
I have over 25 years of experience and am now finding myself teaching the children, and even grandchildren of the first generation of people I taught years ago.
Over the years I have taught thousands of people aged from 17 to 70. If you ask around, the chances are you know someone who passed their test with 'Charlie'.
Having always worked in the Colchester and Clacton areas I know the towns well and have a good knowledge of common areas where students often find problems.
These include areas that often come up in the driving test.
I often find I am able to identify problems where students have previously failed their tests. I find using practical and visual methods usually helps students to grow in confidence and solve these problems.
Also, to keep up with modern practice I recently took the Hazard perception test and passed with top marks so feel I am able to help my students greatly in this field.
