About driving instructor:
When I left school I trained as a technician engineer and worked for many years at Thorn Lighting Melton Road Leicester, and also General Electric. My responsibilities during this time in a technical / supervisory and management roles within Manufacturing and particularly Quality, included many aspects of staff training.
I am also interested in Sports, particularly rugby, having played for a number of years for a local team. I also participated in competitive white water canoeing, both slalom and white water racing. I gained coaching qualifications in both rugby (I qualified as a rugby coach for Mini and Junior age groups) and in canoeing as a slalom coach and canoeing instructor. I worked part time for Leicestershire Education Authority as a canoe Instructor teaching beginners basic canoeing skills.
