About driving school: Gold, The Driving Academy was formed in September 1999 by five instructors who had previously all worked for the UK’s biggest driving school. Out of those five Andy Heaton and Nick Smith still remain as directors of the company along side Marcus Roper who joined a few years later. The three directors are all highly qualified driving instructors in there own right and have experience covering over 50 yrs combined in giving driving tuition. The directors set about creating a company for elite instructors who all shared the same goal, which is to be the very best driving school.
