About driving school: GM Driving are an easy to contact well established friendly driving school based in Southampton close to both Southampton and Solent Universities as well as all the sixth form colleges. We offer manual and automatic instruction which is provided by Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DSA) and Institute of Advanced Motoring approved driving instructors. All of our instructors have signed the DSA’s voluntary code of conduct and have been fully checked by the Criminal Records Board. Your instructor will be calm and professional and we welcome first time or nervous drivers. You are an individual and your lessons will be pitched at your own level of ability, whilst at the same time being structured in accordance with the DSA’s requirements to cover all aspects of driver training. As a result of providing structured lessons with set training objectives for each lesson, we have an excellent pass rate giving you the best chance of passing your driving test at the first attempt. We use new cars all fully dual controlled and all scrupulously well maintained by the vehicles main dealer.
